We formulated our Prenatal using strategically chosen forms and doses of nutrients that were chosen based on a combination of clinical evidence, demonstrated safety, tolerance, and bioavailability. A lot of the research that the %DV values are based on is incredibly outdated or was conducted on irrelevant populations like men with cardiovascular disease rather than pregnant women. We've chosen amounts based on the latest and safest scientific research which is why some of these levels are much higher than the %DV. It unfortunately takes a LONG time for the recommendations to catch up to what the research shows is both beneficial and safe.
