How much iron should I take?Updated 8 months ago

According to The American Society of Hematology, most people with iron deficiency need 150-200 mg per day of elemental iron (2 to 5 mg of iron per kilogram of body weight per day).  However, it is important to note that there is no universal dosage recommendation and that you should work with your health practitioner to tailor your dosage to your needs.
